Guardrails, step limits, and a cost cap are things you build, not things the project hands you.
The framework is also less polished than a hosted product and demands real comfort with code. The community patterns that made it famous have been reworked many times, so docs can lag the code. For anything that touches real files or credentials, you should review its permissions carefully and run it in a sandbox first.
